iPod Software has always stunk.

Let's fix that.

I always found the design on the iPod Classic very comforting and iconic. I never had the privilage of owning one of the classics, only a second-generation iPod nano when I was 8 years old.

After finding one on eBay for a rather cheap price, I decided to buy it and tweak around with it. I completely replaced the front panel, screen, and click wheel for appearance purposes. I considered using solid state storage for the drive on it, but whenever I turn the iPod on, the sound of the engineering marvel spinning disk drive makes me feel so happy because it is almost like the device is actually coming to life. For that reason I decided to keep the spinning drive in the device, (it was also expensive to flash mod it).
